Tough question! After some deep thought and analysis, I have concluded he'd likely wear a jump suit without booties and grips. Did I get the answer right?
That depiction is a false one. This movie is loaded with propagand. Xexes was a wise man, and an army general. He was not black, he did not have gold piercings. So the answer to your question is neither because the picture you posted is neitehr Persian nor of Xerxes. It is just a made up Hollywood creation.
@anonymous, the comic pic may not be too far off. In those days there was alot of "black or african" influence in that area. so he probaly did have what you would call "black features" and what-not even tho he's ETHNICITY was persian. p.s anciant Persians...ect looked alot diferent than what they look like today...well the ones you see on TV anyway. http://www.hebrewisraelites.org/physicalapp.htm
Oh, I'm so sorry that I was born in Iran; I am Iranian, my ancestors were as well,... but I haven't gave a damn about my country's history. The country which has stunning achievements. Great people who - undoubted - had great influences on many parts of the world.
But what about now? They say: "Dominant nations write the history", but nowadays, "dominant movie producers" do it, apparently.
Because of Iran's today senseless and indifferent government, many political propaganda are aimed towards Iranian people to show them wild and barbarian and falsification of history is easy for people who know nothing about the reality.
No more lies! It's enough... I wish I can do sth as soon as I can (-.-)
